Sig initially address this issue on the early production P365's by increasing the recoil spring from 19 to 20 pounds. The only time its ever happened with mine was when I was shooting factory reloads of 115 grain ammo. Failed to lock back twice in 100 rounds. Never happened using either 124 or 147 grain ammo so I quit using 115 grain.So, I have read hundreds of posts on problems with P365's. For each problem, Sig seems to have implemented fixes. Living in Kalifornia, I am limited to buying one of the very few used P365's that can legally come into the state. TAP Port...Jul 20, 2018 · The fix is so simple it's worth doing. 1) Add a little material to the backside of the well where the spring connects and equally increase the length of the tip to allow for more travel should recoil cause it to move. 2) Increase the length of the tip on the trigger bar side to allow for more travel for the same reason. The P365 is, of course, SIG’s newest subcompact that crams 10+1 rounds of 9mm into a chassis the size of a single stack pistol – and with an excellent trigger to boot. Field stripped when I first got it home everything seemed tight and didn't make any noise. The actual shape of the bullet nose at the opening can be picky, tho. One will never have an issue, another might.
