I cleaned the sensors, and made sure the carbon filter was correctly on. Yet, it’s still not working. I cleaned the contacts and still had pinch fault. The pinch wiring feeds to the dfi board so I replaced the dfi board and pinch alarm went away. I also had the red,yellow light. It turned out that I partially pulled out the dfi plug on main board when putting it back together. Turn off the Litter-Robot and unplug it from the power source. Remove the waste drawer and the bonnet. Locate the sensor calibration button, which is located on the control panel near the power button. Press and hold the sensor calibration button, and at the same time, plug the Litter-Robot back into the power source. Yup, the unit where I just replaced the DFI and pinch kit did this about 1 day after replacement and won't even cycle now. I have another unit with the pinch detect fault so I will try the bypass on that unit.
