I got 4 Rancho 9000 for around $52 or so a shock year before last and they are great. I wouldn't even consider Rough Country at any price. Like.

Shocks that I tried: RE Bilstein 5100, RS5000X (highly regarded in here), Fox, and the RS9000XL. The RS9000XL came the closest to not feeling like a meat wagon. The RE Bilstein 5100 and Fox shocks had much less uptravel than the Rancho shocks. The RS9000XL had the most balanced amount of available shock travel.It’s never easy to lose a Hollywood icon.
