Amazon package says delivered but not here

Despite requesting text updates, I did not receive any, nor did I hear a doorbell or a car pull up to the driveway. I refreshed the status at 17:30, and the package said that it was delivered with a 'driver release' on the front door. I looked everywhere, and the package was not there. I drove around the neighborhood, asked neighbors, etc.

That's what I was worried about at first, but I checked about 15-30 minutes after I got athe notification and we also had an Amazon package delivered probably an hour beforehand and that was sitting there. I mean I guess if it was stolen they could have just grabbed the FedEx package and not the Amazon one but that seems kinda weird too. The problem is that you expect up to 3 day delivery after an item is ordered. Amazon only says that the package will be delivered next day, in 1 additional day, or on the 2nd day. Their disclaimer states that processing time is excluded from this. Their disclaimer also states that carriers other than Amazon branded carriers can't be held to this.
